Sara is a Peoria native who earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Psychology from Greenville College in 2004 and a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Bradley University in 2006.  Upon graduation, Sara began working as a physical therapist in Peoria and Germantown Hills.  She joins our team with over 16 years worth of experience treating orthopedic patients with various ailments and especially enjoys treating athletes, vestibular, concussion, and post-surgical patients. Sara continued her education by becoming a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 2006. She then went on to receive further specialized training in several areas including the rehabilitation of gymnasts. In 2018, she received a nationally recognized certification to treat vertigo, concussion, and vestibular disorders through the American Institute of Balance and has had years of extensive experience treating this unique patient population.  When not treating patients, Sara enjoys teaching fitness classes and being a strength and conditioning coach for many of the high level gymnasts in the area. 

Sara lives in Peoria with her husband and her two daughters, Addison and Harper, who share her passion for physical activity and are active in gymnastics, soccer , and Tae Kwon Do.  She and her family love to travel and be outdoors as much as possible and are slowly checking off as many states and national parks as they can with a goal to hit all 50 states by the time the girls turn 18.
